​Description

I explore narrative with themes and subjects that are close to my heart, like motherhood. Being a mother to three young children,
the path I navigate to raise them with love, vulnerability, and acceptance, is groundwork to my artistic endeavours.

I title my work to act as a map, guiding the audience, but never dictating the destination. I trust my work will take people where they need to go, and allow joy and discomfort to co-exist.

Being an artist is a risk I take to be seen and heard.  I accept this risk because I know that I am not alone in how I feel and experience the world.  I want to give people a place to put there emotions they cannot describe.  If they can look at what I’ve made and say, “that is how I feel”, then difficult emotions can be brought to the surface to challenge notions of beauty and stimulate growth.  I want to give this gift to the world.
