What do you find beautiful?
What gives you joy? When looking for inspiration we turn to the things in life that make us feel alive. Not sure how to find inspiration? Talk to us about your life and experiences and we will help you find answers. |
A photograph of a treasured landscape, a visit to a museum, an inquiry into
our inspiration; research helps us to define our interests. Need help to gather inspirational materials? We can bring in books, search the internet with you for images and information, and share photos of art exhibits. |
Color samples, sketches, exploration of different forms; the imagination explores and invents opportunity
to create. Feel overwhelmed by the possibilities? Let us help you to sketch forms you prefer and determine color schemes that are appropriate for your work. |
Build |
Bisque |
Glaze |
Learn techniques to build forms by hand. Slab, coil, pinch, model, combine techniques to create unique effects.
|
After construction is complete, Melz Artz Mobile will transport your work
to be bisque fired. |
Once you have glazed your piece,
Melz Artz Mobile will complete the process with the glaze firing. |
Build, bisque, glaze!
Want to know more before signing up for a course? Discover the technical part of the creative process by booking a free one hour demonstration for your group! During the building process, you store the work in progress on the premises where the lesson is given. When the building is complete, Melz Artz Mobile will take the piece to be bisque fired in the kiln.
After bisque firing, Melz Artz Mobile will return the piece to you to be glazed. After you have applied the glaze to your piece, Melz Artz Mobile will take the piece to be glaze fired. The finished work of art is then returned to you and the creative process is complete! |
